One-Punch Man Season 3 Will Continue (By 2027)
Without a doubt the most surprising announcement, the notorious controversial season that was season 3 of One-Punch Man wasn't enough to deter the series' continuation. The show will be back with a subsequent part in 2027—a date so remote they could have dubbed it season 4. More surprisingly, the studio J.C. Staff will still be at the helm. At least this time, helmer Shinpei Nagai is on board to direct from the outset, which could be taken as a hopeful indicator. However, the promotional image for the continuation is the same image the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou looking opposite ways. This suggests that, nowadays, they are probably teasing the fans.

Ruri Dragon will break that tradition, and what a superb choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo gained massive popularity when it debuted in 2022 after just a small number of issues, but then went into a two-year hiatus due to the mangaka's health issues. When it returned with a reduced workload, the series proved it maintained the fans' affection and enthusiasm, and now fans are ecstatic about the impending KyoAni adaptation.
