David Walliams

Acclaimed children's author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.

A representative for the publisher stated: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."

Media sources suggest that the decision was reached following an investigation into reports of questionable actions directed at young women.

The company declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
