Passionate followers of the pop star are demanding that a man who breached a barricade and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip reveals the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile contains videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is evidently a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several fans blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared surprised when she was touched by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.
