The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
