JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not entirely an original feature. Instead, the latest cinematic release from the JuJutsu Kaisen supernatural series acts as a recap of the anime's second season merged with the first two episodes of its next season, which kicks off the Culling Games narrative from the source material. This establishes Execution, which just got a latest teaser, the quickest way to watch the beginning of the upcoming season ahead of its premiere in early 2026. The film debuts in Japanese theaters on November 7, and in the United States and Canada on December 5.

The Culling Games Arc

In the Culling Game arc, Top-tier jujutsu user Yuta Okkotsu makes his entrance into the television series and is assigned by sorcery authorities to take down his fellow student Yuji Itadori.
