Rice's Recent Legal Issues

The receiver missed the first six games of this season due to an league-mandated ban for his involvement in instigating a multi-vehicle accident on a Dallas highway that resulted in multiple people hurt. He was sentenced a month of incarceration and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to serious offenses.

Statistically, he concluded the season with 53 catches for 571 yards and five TDs as the Kansas City finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
